Happy Birthday!



I married him all over again after 19 years...

 Today is a day of celebration for me. Today I thank God (as I should every day) for the birth of a man whom I love beyond words, for a man who has made me want to be a better person, for a man who infuses joy and laughter into each day.

Thank you God, for my husband, for a perfect father for these girls you have given us. Thank you for making Him so wonderfully and for giving me a partner in this life, a companion on this long obedience in the same direction. Thank you that we can hold hands and walk this path together.

Thank you, Danny, for making me laugh for 'lo these twenty years. Thank you for taking care of me, for showing me how to be generous and put others needs first and for teaching me how to hold my tongue when quiet is needed (a lesson I still need to learn I'm afraid.)

Thank you for helping me to raise our daughters. Thanks for being there for them, for training and guiding them and for helping me be the Bad Guy. Thanks for those long talks when I am at my wits' end with them. Thanks for spending time with them and playing with them even now. Thanks for being loud with them and embarassing me in stores. These are memories they will never forget.
