Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and
humbly to implore His protection and favor; I recommend to

1. Last year at this time we returned home from being guests at the Townshend International Arts Festival almost weeping. Overcome by emotion at the love, talent and atmosphere of unity at Townshend. Wishing, but not too hopeful, that one day we could send our kids to school there and maybe one day they would be on stage with their schoolmates at the Arts Festival. Last night this wish came true. Bekah and Roxie were dancing and singing and presenting as students of TIS. What a great day of Thanksgiving it was for us.
2. since January 1st 2010 I have been writng in my thankfulness journal every day.Last night I wrote my 1,000th entry. 1,000 things to be thankful for in 2010 and the year isn't finished yet. This will be a yearly ritual for me.
