day 11

Just as you’ll never understand
      the mystery of life forming in a pregnant woman,
   So you’ll never understand
      the mystery at work in all that God does. 

  Go to work in the morning
      and stick to it until evening without watching the clock.
   You never know from moment to moment
      how your work will turn out in the end.

Ecclesiastes 11:5,6

What we do matters. What we say matters. How we act and react matters. Sometimes we don’t know why, but we can be sure that God does. The choices we make show who we are and what we believe. They show our character. People watch us to see if what we say and what we do align. Why we are where we are and why we are doing what we are doing may be a mystery to us, what good is complaining when no situation is perfect. Rather work hard, do what is right and what pleases God and serve others. Time will fly by when we are not watching the clock waiting for a better day.
