spoken gratitude

829. seeing some improvement in my rusty French

830. having a former student spend the day in my class

831. dinner at my friend and co-worker's house to celebrate great Parent-Teacher conferences

832. homemade pumpkin soup with parmesan cheese brought all the way from Italy

833. knowing my girls

834. receiving an early birthday gift...possibly the best one ever (see tomorrow's post)

835. feeling relaxed...quite an accomplishment for me

836. being tired from an intense week and having an incredible husband who picked up the slack

837. WE GOT OUR VISAS!!!

  1. I always love these "spoken gratitude" posts. It's such a window into who you are and what you think, Krista.
    CONGRATULATIONS on getting your visas! I know that's always an iffy proposition and a big relief to know that God is confirming that He wants you to stay where He has planted you. Can't imagine what life would be like here if we had to submit applications every year to some organization that could decide that we have to drop everything and pack up and leave our current life. I love and admire you both so much for being willing to live on that edge for the Lord.
