Crying is better than laughing.
   It blotches the face but it scours the heart.
Ecclesiastes 7:3

Who among us doesn’t need the freedom and rest that a clean heart brings? A burdened heart needs rescuing and relief. During some rough times last month I tried to be strong and hold it together and not show the world what was going on inside. But the cracking dam eventually breaks and this one broke in my Director’s office. A public scouring, if you will. I left his office with a blotchy face and a lightness of being that replaced the weariness of the past few weeks. I wonder why I tried to be so strong and go it alone. The  journey towards wisdom, designed by God millenia ago, relevant for today.
